Taipei City Health Bureau Published List of Food Safety Commission
On February 24, Taipei Mayor Wen-Je Ko hosted a town hall meeting regarding the establishment of the Taipei City Government Food Safety Commission, convened by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. A list of candidates were recommended for selection to the Commission’s twenty seats at a meeting on February 26.
Secretary of the Taipei City Health Bureau Shijie Huang notes that food safety is a topic of public concern and the establishment of the Taipei City Government Food Safety Committee will promote and maintain food safety in Taipei. The first meeting of the Commission will be held soon, and will include food safety and health professionals as well as community representatives.
