On “Enfakid A+ Formulated Milk Powder For Children” (expiration date: January 1, 2013; lot number: OM46188) products produced by Mead Johnson Nutrition Co., Ltd that contain foreign matter, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) indicates that if consumers find the same products with the same lot number or similar products forming black precipitate after adding water and letting milk stand for a while, please inform local public health bureaus. In order to further understand this situation, the FDA will also coordinate with the Public Health Bureau to inspect the milk powder products with other lot numbers for analyzing whether they should be further controlled or not.
